Netskope is hosting a breakfast webinar on the essential role of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). Join us on Wednesday, 29th September 2021 at 10:30AM to hear about the capabilities of SASE over breakfast.

The past 18 months have seen the SD-WAN and security markets rapidly converge around a relatively new but now well-known product category called Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). In addition, the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and the resultant increase in remote working has accelerated the need for IT leaders to examine the security around consumer wireless routers communicating across the public internet. We are thrilled to host a breakfast webinar this Wednesday, 29th September 2021 at 10:30AM with Netskope to inform organizations looking to learn more about SASE and its benefits.

The rise of SASE

As outlined in Netskope’s latest whitepaper, ‘SASE and the Seven Forces Shaping Cybersecurity,’ businesses are operating in an ever-changing environment that is evolving faster than their cybersecurity strategies. Given this, organizations need to understand the forces that impact an organization’s security. According to Netskope, seven factors influence an organization’s security strategy. They thus must be understood in depth: business strategy, information technology operations, risk management and risk reporting, organizational culture, adversaries and threats, government and industry regulations, and global social and economic forces.

As digital transformation is moving at such a fast rate, cybersecurity cannot keep up. This is where SASE provides its potential. Gartner coined the term SASE in October 2019 and describes SASE as the emerging security and network framework that allows for more comprehensive protection of an organization’s web, SaaS, private apps, data centers and cloud data.

In this cloud-native model, necessary security services such as secure web gateways (SWG), cloud access security brokers (CASB), data loss prevention (DLP), advanced threat protection (ATP) are combined. It utilizes a global, high-capacity, low-latency edge network to meet the increasing demands of an organization’s business drivers. The SASE architecture provides the framework for an organization to replan network security strategy and cloud data protection entirely. At this breakfast webinar, Netskope will elaborate on this, and answer any queries regarding the architecture.
