What you’ll learn

Due to their large and complex attack surface and the difficulty in ensuring they are secure, web applications continue to be a prime target in attacks. All it takes is a flaw in the application itself, its framework, the web server or proxy server configuration, or even some third-party component (e.g. a JavaScript library that is embedded on each web page) to lead to a full compromise of a host or network.

To be able to run security testing regularly is becoming more and more important as the threat landscape continues to change and get more difficult to navigate.

In our session we aim to show you how you can do more testing while keeping costs low.

The session will cover the following:

• Understand how to run more regular testing in a cost effective way
• Test a large numbers of assets
• Set up specific types of testing
• Check for OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities
• Integrate a tool in to your development life cycle
• Discover and remediate vulnerabilities before a hacker can exploit them
