Reinventing SaaStock: What’s new for 2024

SaaStock is heading back to Dublin this October–but this time, with a difference.

The team and I have been busy behind the scenes revamping our flagship event to make sure it better meets the needs of our community.

From an unparalleled networking programme, to bespoke experiences tailored to your company stage and role function, and a fresh approach to content, this year’s event is set to be the best one yet.

We’re really excited about this next stage of SaaStock, so I wanted to take the time to explain what changes we’re making and why we’re making them.

Changing demands from B2B SaaS leaders

As we started thinking about this year’s event, we recognised that last year’s SaaStock wasn’t a different product from 2019. And that, really, was an iteration of the first SaaStock in 2016 (just 471% bigger).

It was time to innovate on that product and bring it forward to meet the needs of SaaS leaders and investors now, in this market, faced with new technologies, economic uncertainty, and changing buying habits.

We spoke to hundreds of SaaS founders, operators, and investors about their challenges. We consulted our community and sent the team out in the field. I also spoke to our podcast guests, and had conversations at length with our SaaStock Founder Members.

The most common challenges? Funding, navigating market challenges, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies. And it makes sense–things are moving quickly. AI is changing the product landscape and increasing competition, the funding landscape remains volatile, and tight budgets are lengthening sales cycles and making closing deals more difficult.

What is clear though is that these are shared challenges and what people want is to understand what they can do now to overcome them more quickly. Yes, through content but increasingly through connecting with the right problem solvers, knowledge-sharing with peers, and building a powerful network.

Prior SaaStocks have done this successfully but we knew we could do more.

Impactful networking, guaranteed

We spend a lot of time and effort to ensure the quality of our event audience but it isn’t enough to just get 1000s of the right people to a city anymore.

You wouldn’t begin cold outreach without having a targeted account list or go on a business trip without ensuring the decision makers and influencers are guaranteed attendees.

So why expect our attendees to come to a show and hope that they meet potential new contacts because we have a great attendee list or stellar speakers or excellent ecosystem partnerships?

We heard the feedback about needing more structured networking and listened to our community about the need for a space to share challenges and discuss solutions.

The result? A new SaaStock with additional products and services that will help you meet the right people more easily.

What’s new?

Our new, networking-led approach makes it easier to connect with the right people, learn from your peers, and get in front of your ideal customer profile (ICP), instead of relying on serendipitous meetings and introductions.

Here are some of the new additions for 2024:

  • Experiences tailored to your company stage: The Accelerate Experience (Pre-Seed and Seed) and the Growth Experience (Series A+) provide a personalised programme of content, networking opportunities, and hands-on learnings.
  • Boardroom: From breakfasts and lunches to afternoon tea, these hospitality and content sessions are for Revenue, Marketing, Finance, and Product & Technical leaders to share and learn under the Chatham House Rule.
  • Connect & go: A speed networking style experience with three minute sessions for attendees to meet as many new contacts as possible.
  • Operator masterclasses: A series of interactive sessions for sales, marketing and product teams to up-skill themselves.
  • Operator huddles: Group sessions for finance, marketing, product, customer success, and revenue/GTM leaders to connect with their peers and discuss how they are addressing business challenges.
  • CEO coaching: World-class training for the SaaS founders and CEOs leading the frontline, covering some of the most common pain points that the modern business leader faces today.
  • Saloon: A partner-led content space for premium partners to host content sessions and micro events for up to 50 attendees at a time.

Why DEIB is Imperative to Tech’s Future

Hadas Almog from AppsFlyer • 17th March 2025

We’ve been seeing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives being cut time and time again throughout the tech industry.
